Making G.R.E.A.T. Men/Women, Mentoring is focused on assisting youth of color, particularly those of low socioeconomic status, with daily life and development of their future. It is our goal to do this by providing assistance with many spectrums of life, including socially and academically, and how to maneuver in today’s ever changing society. We want to cultivate self-discovery, promote positive mental health, and prepare them for a brighter future. We will offer various forms of mentoring practices, self-awareness information and techniques, and most of all provide academic support with the child, while also involving the parent/guardian. We feel that it is essential to empower the child with the tools necessary for what success will mean to them at any stage of life.
